For the first time since the Homebuyer Tax Credit was unveiled active listings in Siouxland exceed those from the same period during the previous year. The increased number of available houses on the market bodes well for buyers because they have more choices within their price point.

What hasn’t changed is that market priced, well staged homes at all price points still move quickly.

While the feeding fenzy for entry level homes for first time home buyers has abated for now it’s still a great time to either buy or sell a home. Record interest rates are expected to continue into the foreseeable future in conjunction with a wide variety of mortgage options.
